I forgot where I placed my notes
Whatever ramblings manage to shudder through my mind.
A kaleidoscope of thoughts and prayers
of newly processed fears
I had long repressed.
Editing is a choice,
and choices can also be
not taken.
And wildly enough, it is also possible
to change your choice
even if it feels like you are stuck
with one that you chose
so long ago,
 without context,
   based solely on impulse and intuition.
Thing is, your story can change,
you can change;
horrifying, I know,
but sometimes you need that
in order to grow.
No action at all
is also a choice;
completely valid answer,
keeping your options open.
Consider though,
as you pause,
time still passes
and consequences build;
nearing a peak you haven’t dared to
imagine you’d reach so soon, so
abruptly.

The option passes
or you can take a chance
and grasp it before it fades away.
