An Invocation to Minerva

My Lady Minerva,
let me share your wisdom to espouse,
let bodies nurture
crops the earth my weapon plows.

I’ve laid my rose at your feet;
may my body, soul and heart be thine
to trample evil into defeat
through art, trade and war divine.

Justice, a fragment to lend for thought,
even if its a small wisdom with which to part;
I’ll make sure to house it in my heart
as shadows and enemies gather throughout.

Guard my mind from bad omens,
my eyes from venomous lies,
aid in regulating my emotions,
and provide opportunity to find compromise.

Oh divine Minerva,
Allow me to be your warrior,
I stand ready to do my part.
For it’s time for the wise to finally don their armor,
and surrender to you Our collective Body, Soul and Heart.
